Dr Helton de Sá Souza is professor of Sports Training and Athletics of the Federal University of Viçosa (UFV). He received his PhD in Science from Federal University of São Paulo (UNIFESP) in 2019. He jointed to Department of Physical Education at the UFV in 2020. de Sá Souza, PhD, is also a researcher at the Psychobiology and Exercise Research Center (CEPE). He is a member of the International Society of Exercise Immunology. The de Sá Souza research focuses on exercise training, sleep medicine, and skeletal muscle adaptations.
