Heng Yang received his PhD degree in signal theory and processing in 2019 at Universitat Politecnica de Catalunya. He is currently a postdoctoral researcher in the group of IonSAT, at the department of mathematics of Universitat Politecnica de Catalunya, Barcelona, Spain. He is working on the technologies of GNSS ionospheric sounding, including the computation of real-time global ionospheric maps, the detection of ionospheric perturbations and relationship with natural events.
