I am focusing on terrestrial carbon cycle mechanisms and simulations. My main research interests include 1) Constraining net carbon uptake and processes through data assimilation of atmospheric trace gases and RS land surface variables; 2) Improving process-based biosphere models by incorporating environmental stressors from RS data; 3) Developing advanced ML/DL models for upscaling in-situ measurements to regional scales; 4) Uncovering the responses of land carbon cycle to climate extremes using observations and models.
