Dr. Yesong Gu received BS in Chemical Engineering (1986) and MS in Biochemical Engineering (1991) from Zhejiang University (China), and Ph.D in Chemical Engineering (1995) from Ohio University (USA). He was then a postdoctoral fellow at the department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, University of Maryland (USA), working on DNA repair and cancer research. He joined in the department of Chemical Engineering at Tunghai University (Taiwan) in 2001. His researches have been focused on conductive polymers, biosensors, diagnostic method development, and biotechnology. He is currently a distinguished professor, Associate Dean for the Office of Research and Development, and Director of Life Science Research Center at Tunghai University.
