Xiaoqiang Sun received a B.S. degree in electrical engineering from Northeast Normal University, Changchun, China, an M.S. degree from College of Physics, Jilin University, and a Ph.D. degree from the College of Electronic Science and Engineering, Jilin University, in 2000, 2005, and 2010, respectively. He has been an Associate Professor in Jilin University. His current research interests mainly focus on integrated waveguide devices, including electro-optic switches, modulators, and multiplexing techniques, as well as surface-plasmon-based waveguide devices.
