Dr. Selvaraj Muthusamy received his Ph.D. in 2016 from the Korea Institute of Science and Technology (KIST) in South Korea. During his time there, he focused on chemical synthesis for neuromedicine drugs and worked as a visiting scientist from 2016 to 2019, specializing in chemical synthesis for biomolecule detection using chemosensors. After completing his postdoctoral research at Jiangsu University in China from 2019 to 2021, he has been serving as an associate professor since 2021 and was awarded NSFC funding in the same year. His research interests include the design and synthesis of novel fluorophores for cancer diagnosis through biomolecule detection, framework materials for energy devices, and electrochemical oxidation.
