Dr. Illia Dobryden received his PhD degree in Physics at Luleå University of Technology (Sweden) in 2014. Dr. Dobryden completed his postdoctoral studies at KTH Royal Institute of Technology (Sweden) with a focus on "Application and Development of advanced nanomechanical and electrical AFM methods in coatings and surface science". Dr. Dobryden is currently working as a Scientist and Project Leader at Research Institutes of Sweden (RISE, Stockholm). His main research areas are focusing on bio-based materials for energy harvesting (piezoelectric, triboelectric), digitalization (sensors), and storage (rechargeable batteries). Dr. Dobryden is also carrying out research activities on advanced surface and material characterization utilizing atomic force microscopy and Raman spectroscopy methods.
