Professor Hongxia Li obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Structural Analysis and Software Design from Southwest Jiaotong University in 2006, and her PhD in Engineering Mechanics from Dalian University of Technology in 2014. In 2017, she passed the “Special Evaluation of Senior Teacher Positions” at Dalian University of Technology and stayed on to teach at the university. She is currently employed at the Institute of High-Performance Precision Forming and Molds of the School of Mechanical Engineering, as an Associate Professor and Doctoral Supervisor. She has long been engaged in research in the fields of national defense equipment R&D and manufacturing, key component calculation and optimization, complex working condition coupling and simulation, artificial intelligence and intelligent manufacturing, microfluidics technology, precision and micro-forming of interventional medical devices, and metal ultra-low temperature forming friction and lubrication.
