Rui Silva has a Ph.D. in Management from the University of Beira Interior (Covilhã, Portugal), a Masters in Finance and accounting, and an economics degree from the University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro. He is a professor in the financial accounting curricular units, advanced management accounting, accountability and finance, budget accounting, and financial reporting. He has published articles in several international indexed scientific journals on accounting, gamification in accounting, university partnerships, strategic management, quality systems, written and oral accounting student communications, among others.
