Dr. Paulo Morgado

I am a GIScientist passionate about cities and urban planning. I'm based in the University of Lisbon as a an Assistant Professor at the institute of Geography and Spatial Planning. I'm a researcher at the Centre of Geographical Studies, and I'm at the present moment a Geomodlab (Laboratory for remote sensing, geographical analysis and modeling) coordinator. My research areas are centered in the field of Theoretical and Quantitative Geography and in a cross-science study on everything related with cities dynamics with a focus on people & environmental. More recently, I'm leading some researchs upon Smart, Livable, Equity and Sustainable Cities and Neurocomputing, cognitive and real-time cities.
