His primary field of research is focused on the development of new, highly sensitive, analytical methods. He completed his PhD on the development of kinetic-catalytic spectrophotometric methods for the determination of very low concentrations of iodide and thyroxine. Within this research, the kinetic equation, reaction rate constant, and key kinetic parameters were determined, and a reaction mechanism was proposed. During his study stay in Prague, he worked on the application of voltammetric method for the determination of chloramphenicol. He is currently engaged in the development and application of new electrochemical methods for assessing the antioxidant activity of both pure substances and real samples. In addition, he is working on the development of electrochemical methods for the determination of selected species.
