Dr. Manzar Sohail is current working as an associate professor at the Department of Chemistry, National University of Sciences and Technology, Islamabad, Pakistan. Dr. Sohail obtained his PhD at Monash University, Australia in October 2009. During his postdoctoral appointments he worked at Nanochemistry Research Institute, Curtin University and University of the Sunshine Coast, Australia before joining as research scientist at Center of Excellence in Nanotechnology, King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals, Saudi Arabia in 2014. His main research focus and interest is in the synthesis of new electrode materials for electrocatalysis and electrochemical sensing. Dr. Sohail has published over 80 publications in international peer reviewed journals and has 5 US patents to his name. Prior to PhD he received his M.Sc. Chemistry degree from Government College Lahore and M.Phil. in Inorganic Chemistry from Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad, Pakistan. He obtained his school education from Government high school Mandra, Pakistan.
