Dr. Jie Su​ is currently a faculty member at the School of Automotive and Mechanical Engineering, Changsha University of Science and Technology, China. He received his Ph.D. from Hunan University and was a joint Ph.D. candidate at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. His research focuses on high-performance lubrication and surface/interface technologies for advanced mechanical transmission systems, particularly in the areas of gear transmission lubrication, thermal management, and nanofluid-enhanced tribology. Dr. Su has conducted extensive computational and experimental studies on lubrication performance and heat dissipation optimization for high-speed gears, wind turbine gearboxes, and aerospace transmission systems. His work integrates advanced techniques such as CFD simulation, femtosecond laser micro-nano surface processing, and 3D printing to develop innovative lubrication solutions and surface functionalization strategies. Dr. Su has published over 40 peer-reviewed papers in leading international journals, including Tribology International, Chemical Engineering Journal, and Fuel.
