Prof. Dr. Henry H. Heng is a Professor of Molecular Medicine and Genetics at the Center for Molecular Medicine and Genetics, Wayne State University School of Medicine. He obtained a Ph.D. in Medical Genetics from the University of Toronto, and then had post-doc training at York University before joining Wayne State. Prof. Dr. Henry H. Heng’s research group focuses on a new genome-information-based framework of genomics, evolution, and their clinical implications, as well as investigating karyotype coding, a chromosome-level code that organizes gene interactive networks. Furthermore, he has authored the following books: “Genome Chaos: Rethinking Genetics, Evolution, and Molecular Medicine”, and “Debating Cancer: The Paradox in Cancer Research”. He was also an Editor for Genetic Heterogeneity and Human Diseases.
