Prof. Dr. Henry H. Heng is a Professor of Molecular Medicine
and Genetics at the Center for Molecular Medicine and Genetics, Wayne State
University School of Medicine. He obtained a Ph.D. in Medical Genetics from the
University of Toronto, and then had post-doc training at York University
before joining Wayne State. Prof. Dr. Henry H. Heng’s research group focuses
on a new genome-information-based framework of genomics, evolution, and their
clinical implications, as well as investigating karyotype coding, a
chromosome-level code that organizes gene interactive networks. Furthermore, he
has authored the following books: “Genome Chaos: Rethinking Genetics,
Evolution, and Molecular Medicine”, and “Debating Cancer: The Paradox in Cancer
Research”. He was also an Editor for Genetic Heterogeneity and Human Diseases.
