Dr Javier Santander is a Marine Microbiologist (PhD; Arizona State Univ., 2012). His research focuses on fundamental aspects of infectious diseases in marine organisms, including Atlantic salmon (Salmo salar) and lumpfish (Cyclopterups lumpus) bacterial pathogens, vaccine development, and teleost immune response.
