Prof. Dr. Urška Vrabič-Brodnjak

Prof. Dr. Urška Vrabič-Brodnjak received her doctorate in 2008 from the University of Ljubljana's Faculty of Natural Sciences and Engineering, where she works as an Associate Professor. She is an accomplished researcher and educator with a diverse background in materials science. She has had a strong academic journey marked by notable achievements and a wealth of research contributions in the field of sustainable packaging materials and design. Her research is also focused on the structural properties and applications of natural bio-polymers and fibres in the packaging industry. She is a Senate member at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Engineering and the President of the Ethical Issues Committee at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Engineering, University of Ljubljana. She is the author of more than 90 scientific papers, contributes at international and home conferences, and is an invited lecturer at many international conferences.
