Matt is Professor of Social Research, based within the Department of Social and Political Sciences at Nottingham Trent University. As Research Chair, Matt has oversight and coordinating responsibility for all departmental research activity. He is an active researcher with over 20 years’ experience of researching in the linked areas of youth and democratic engagement. Recently he has been investigating intergenerational (democratic) partnerships, using his “Citizens’ Engagement Model”.
