Regina J.J.M. van den Eijnden is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Social and Behavioural Sciences, Interdisciplinary Social Science, Utrecht University. In 1998, she obtained her PhD in Social Psychology at the University of Groningen. Her main interest is in research on the development and consequences of adolescent online risk behaviours. Dr. van den Eijnden has 20 years of research experience in the field of addictive use of internet, games, and social media, particularly among adolescents. She (co-)authored over 200 international (peer-reviewed) research articles and over 50 research reports (H-index 42).
