He is a Doctor and Full Professor (M'88) with an earned Physics degree in the electronic field from Universidad de Sevilla, Spain; since 1991, he has belonged to the Departamento de Tecnología Electrónica, at the Universidad de Sevilla, where he has been a Full Professor since 2012. In 1989, he became researcher at the Institute of Microelectronics at Seville (IMSE). He has participated in national and international research projects. He has published more than 100 papers in international journals and conferences. His current research interests include analysis and design of analog integrated circuits and systems for signal processing, CAD tools for analog circuits, biomedical circuit and system applications, and bioimpedance-based instrumentation.
