Hu Li earned his Ph.D. degree from Southwest Petroleum University in China. He is currently affiliated with Sichuan University of Science and Engineering and serves as Executive Vice President of the International Mine Safety and Emergency Rescue Association. His main research interests include unconventional petroleum geology, structural geology, and fault and fracture analysis. He has been consecutively listed among the World’s Top 2% Scientists (2023−present). He is the Founding Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Geo-Energy and Environment.
