Hyun-Chul Kim received his integrated M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Brain and Cognitive Engineering from Korea University, Seoul, South Korea, in 2019. From 2019 to 2021, he was a Research Professor at the Institute of Brain and Cognitive Engineering, Korea University, and a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Harvard Medical School, Boston, MA, USA. Since 2021, he has been an Assistant Professor in the Department of Artificial Intelligence at Kyungpook National University, Daegu, South Korea. His research interests include neuroimaging, machine learning/deep learning, signal processing, brain–computer interfaces, neurofeedback, brain disease diagnosis/prognosis, and neuromodulation.
