Associate Professor at the Faculty of Marine Sciences and Technology, Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University, Türkiye, holding a Ph.D. in Marine Science and Technology. Principal research interests include marine biotechnology, food chemistry, food microbiology, protein chemistry, food fermentation, the sustainable valorisation of marine resources and food byproducts, marine-derived bioactive compounds, algae and aquatic byproducts, and the development of functional food products.
