About Me
Igor O. Shamshin is a research scientist at the Detonation laboratory, N.N. Semenov Federal Research Center for Chemical Physics of the Russian Academy of Sciences. He completed his PhD studies in Thermal Physics and Theoretical Heat Technology at the National Research Nuclear University MEPhI (Moscow Engineering Physics Institute) in 2003. He has authored over 50 scientific articles in peer-reviewed journals. His interests include combustion physics, detonation, and the application of detonation in propulsion and engineering.
