Igor V. Kononenko - Professor, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Laureate of the State Prize of Ukraine, Professor of the Project Management in IT Department of National Technical University "Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute" (NTU “KhPI”), Head of the Strategic Management Department of NTU “KhPI” (2000-2020), Visiting Researcher at West University of Timișoara (Timisoara, Romania) (2022), National Expert of United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO, 1995), Deputy Director of Institute of Machinery and Systems of the Ministry of Industrial Policy and National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (1993-2002). Chairman of the program committee of the International Scientific Conference “Integrated management” (2010-2025). Under his direction, computerized simulation models of the socio-economic development of Ukraine have been developed in 1994, 1998, and 2008. The verification based on statistical information showed the high accuracy of the forecasts of the main tendencies of the development. He managed the preparation of more than 50 investment projects for enterprises. The author of more than 300 scientific works. He lectured at the WSB University in Opole, Lodz University of Technology (Poland), and Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Constraction (Azerbaijan). He has prepared 13 Candidates of Sciences (Ph.D.). In 2015 Igor Kononenko was awarded the Order "For Merits" of the 3rd degree by the President of Ukraine.
