Dr. Ifigeneia Grigoriadou has a robust academic background, holding a degree in Chemistry with a specialization in Organic chemistry, Biotechnology, and Food Science. She further earned a Master’s degree on Physics and Technology of Materials, followed by a Ph.D. in Polymer Science & Technology, complemented by a supplementary course in Project Management. During her six-year tenure at Pharmathen International SA, Dr. Grigoriadou excelled as a Chemical Lab Analyst, utilizing HPLC, GC, IR, and UV systems for analyzing pharmaceutical products in compliance with GMP and company quality standards. She advanced to the position of Final Products Reviewer, overseeing compliance, and managing QC and R&D Laboratory standards. Subsequently, she briefly served as an R&D analytical scientist at Rafarm SA, specializing in method development, validation, transfer, scale-up, and stability studies on non-sterile ophthalmic pharmaceutical products. Transitioning to Q-Lab, she ascended to the role of Chemical Lab Supervisor, later promoted to Research Scientist and Project Manager Assistant during her two-and-a-half-year tenure. Currently, Dr. Grigoriadou actively contributes to multiple funded research projects, including BIOMETHAVERSE, PHOTOSINT, and μ2Gas. Her expertise extends to her Ph.D. studies, where she played a pivotal role in numerous funded research projects focused on synthesizing polymeric materials for nanotechnology applications.
