Dr. Izhar Ali completed his bachelor’s and master’s degrees at the Agricultural University in Peshawar, Pakistan, and then received a Chinese Government Scholarship (CSCScholarship) for his Ph.D. Now, he is a postdoctoral research fellow at Guangxi University, China, in the College of Agriculture and Department of Agronomy. His main areas of interest are crop physiology, morphology, roots, quality, soil physio-biochemical properties, greenhouse gases, etc. He is the editor-in-chief of the Journal of Soil, Plant and Environment, https://www.jspae.com/.
