Jaume Guia is Full Professor at the University of Girona, where he works in the fields of tourism, territorial transformation and organization studies. His research examines how tourism participates in processes of social, territorial and institutional transformation, with particular attention to relationality, justice, inclusion and regenerative futures. His current work engages with posthumanist and process-relational approaches to explore questions of transformation, vulnerability, participation and the formation of more just and liveable territories. He is Director of the research group Ontological Nomadisms for Inclusive Transformations (ONIT) and Scientific Director of the Tourism Campus at the University of Girona. His research also connects conceptual development with international higher education, territorial experimentation and collaborative projects in Europe and Africa.
