Dr. Javier A. Concha is originally from Concepcion, Chile. Dr. Concha received his Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering in 2008 from the University of Concepcion. He received his Ph.D. in Imaging Science after attending the Imaging Science Master's program as a Fulbright Scholar at the Rochester Institute of Technology. He did a postdoc at the Ocean Ecology Lab of the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center for three years, working with validation and calibration of satellite-derived products for Ocean Color. Currently, he is a researcher at the Istituto di Scienze Marine (ISMAR) of the Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche (CNR) in Rome, Italy.
