Janete Borges, PhD in Interdisciplinary Sciences (University of Porto), is an Assistant Professor at the School of Health of the Polytechnic of Porto (ESS-PPorto). She is also a researcher at the Centre for Health Studies and Research of the University of Coimbra/Centre for Innovative Biomedicine and Biotechnology (CEISUC/CIBB) and at the Associated Laboratory for Green Chemistry (LAQV) of the Network of Chemistry and Technology (REQUIMTE), Portugal. Her work focuses on the statistical treatment and analysis of data, with research interests in public health, mental health, and the study of violence and discrimination.
