Dr. Tafolla-Arellano is a Full-Time Research Professor C of the Departmento de Ciencias Básicas, Universidad Autónoma Agraria Antonio Narro (UAAAN). He is the founder and head of the Laboratory of Biotechnology and Molecular Biology-UAAAN. He served as the editor-in-chief of the scientific journals Universitas Agri and Revista Agraria. His research focuses on the study of the biotechnological use of plants through an interdisciplinary approach of omics, bioinformatics, and molecular biology.
