Dr. Jereme Wilroy is an Associate Professor with a doctorate in health education and promotion. His research focuses on the use of adaptive intervention and telehealth technology in the design and testing of exercise trials in populations of disability. He currently holds an R01 studying the cardiometabolic effects of exercise in wheelchair users. Dr. Wilroy is a co-director of the UAB Spinal Cord Injury Model Systems and Director of Research at the Lakeshore Foundation, a non-profit aimed to empower individuals with disability to live an active lifestyle.
