Jean Felipe Leal Silva is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Process Engineering, School of Chemical Engineering (FEQ) at the University of Campinas (UNICAMP). His research focuses on biorefinery and biomanufacturing, with emphasis on advanced biofuels, life-cycle assessment, process intensification and separation technologies (including recovery of fermentation acids, furan biorefineries from sugarcane residues, and in-situ CO₂ separation).
