Jianxin Yang is a distinguished associate professor at the Department of Land Resources Management, School of Public Administration, China University of Geosciences. Jianxin Yang received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in land resources management from the China University of Geosciences. He then completed his Ph.D. in land resources management at the same university, and completed a joint doctorate with the Department of Earth and Geographic Information Sciences, University of North Carolina at Charlotte. His research interests include the modeling and analysis of land change and its eco-environmental effects, territorial spatial planning, land use planning and evaluation, spatiotemporal statistics, and multi-agent modeling.
