Dr. Jihyeon Gim is a battery materials scientist specializing in the synthesis and characterization of electrode materials for lithium-ion and sodium-ion batteries. His research focuses on high-energy cathode materials, including high-nickel and Li/Mn-rich systems, developed using scalable chemical and solid-state synthesis routes and investigated through in situ and operando X-ray techniques. He has conducted collaborative research at Argonne National Laboratory to advance next-generation energy storage technologies.
