JEISON MARÍN-ALFONSO earned his B.S. in Electronics Engineering in 2002 and his M.Sc. in Engineering, Electronics Area (Electronic Engineering) from Universidad Industrial de Santander, Colombia (2006), and his Ph.D. from Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana, Medellín, Colombia (2019). He joined the Department of Automatics and Electronics Engineering at Unidades Tecnológicas de Santander, Colombia, in 2005, where he is currently a full-time professor. He is a leader of Grupo de Investigación en Nuevas Tecnologías GNET. His research focuses on advanced communication systems and signal processing.
