João Paulo Teixeira holds a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Porto (2004) and is a Coordinating Professor at Instituto Politécnico de Bragança – Portugal. He has taught in the areas of Signal Processing, Electronics, and Computers Engineering since 1995. He is a full member of the Research Centre in Digitalization and Intelligent Robotics (CeDRI) and a member of the Applied Management Research Unit (UNIAG). He has published 2 scientific books and more than 150 scientific journal/conference papers and belongs to the Scientific Committee of several journals. Currently, his research interest focuses on AI applied to biological signals and tourism time series.
