Jordan Pennells is a Research Scientist in food engineering at CSIRO, specialising in extrusion science and AI-enabled process modelling. His work focuses on understanding ingredient rheology, thermomechanical transformations, and the system dynamics of food and feed extrusion to improve product quality and process efficiency. He leads the development of the Intelligent Extrusion Platform, an emerging digital ecosystem that connects literature intelligence, ingredient modelling, AI-driven product development, and computation-based simulation tools.
