Francisco Javier Martinez-de-Pison is a Full Professor in Machine Learning and Project Management at the University of La Rioja. He also serves as a Head of the EDMANS Research Group (Engineering Data Mining and Numerical Simulations) at the same university. Francisco Javier Martinez-de-Pison completed his bachelor's degree in electronics engineering, a master’s degree in industrial engineering, and a PhD in data mining and machine learning. His research areas include the use of data mining and machine learning methods in decision support systems in different fields, such as industry, energy, agriculture, and environment.
