Dr. Kang Kang is an Associate Professor and PhD Supervisor at the School of Basic Medical Sciences, Shenzhen University Medical School, Shenzhen University, China. He received his PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from South China Agricultural University in 2010 and completed his postdoctoral training at Shenzhen University in 2014. His research focuses on non-coding RNA biology, RNA modification, and the molecular mechanisms of pulmonary hypertension and pulmonary vascular remodeling, particularly RNA-mediated regulation of vascular smooth muscle cell phenotypes and endothelial function. He has also contributed to the development of microRNA detection technologies, including the S-Poly(T) method, and their applications in molecular diagnostics. Dr. Kang has published more than 40 SCI-indexed papers and served as Principal Investigator for two General Programs of the National Natural Science Foundation of China. He received the Second Prize of the Guangdong Science and Technology Award (Natural Science) in 2021 and has been recognized as a Shenzhen High-Level Professional Talent.
