Karla Lissette Silva Martínez is an Agronomist, educator, and researcher at the Instituto Tecnológico Superior de Tantoyuca, Tecnológico Nacional de México. She is a member of Mexico’s National System of Researchers (SNI), Level 1, under the Secretariat of Science, Humanities, Technology and Innovation (SECIHTI). She has a degree in Agronomy and postgraduate studies, with professional experience in agricultural and livestock systems, beneficial microorganisms, biological control, soil health, and vermicomposting. Her research interests focus on beneficial and entomopathogenic microorganisms, organic matter management, agroecological practices, and sustainable alternatives for livestock production. She also participates in the Graduate Program in Tropical Livestock Production, contributing to student training and applied research addressing agricultural and livestock challenges in the Huasteca region of Veracruz, Mexico.
