Karlo Babić obtained his BSc degree in informatics in 2016 from the University of Rijeka, Department of Informatics, and his MSc degree in informatics from the University of Rijeka, Department of Informatics in 2018. In 2018 he started his PhD while working as an assistant at the University of Rijeka, Department of Informatics. The topic of his PhD is related to neural networks for text representation. He defended qualifying exam "Text Representation Models Based on Neural Networks" (supervisor Ana Meštrović). His research interests include neural networks, natural language processing, representation learning, and simulations.
