Dr. R. K. Selvakesavan has 15 years of research experience, including 8 years of post-Ph.D. research, in plant biotechnology, molecular biology, plant tissue culture, nanobiotechnology, and multi-omics. His research focuses on plant–microbe interactions, metabolic engineering, and the development of plant cell-based biofactories for the sustainable production of betalains and other pharmaceutically important plant secondary metabolites. He has published 25 peer-reviewed research articles and two book chapter, with research appearing in leading international journals.
