Leandro Augusto Frata Fernandes has an MSc degree and a PhD in Computer Science from the Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS). He was also a postdoctoral researcher at UFRGS. Today, he is a faculty member at the Universidade Federal Fluminense (UFF). His research interests include most aspects of visual computing and artificial intelligence, but specifically computer vision, pattern recognition, and machine learning.
