I completed my Chemical Degree at the University of Valladolid, Spain in 2022. My Final Degree's Project focused on "Advances in the Functionalization of Aptamers" within the field of Organic and Synthetic Chemistry, in collaboration with the research groups "Advanced Biodevices for Nanomedicine" and "Pharmasynthesis" in the Faculty of Science at the University of Valladolid (Cie-UVa). Following that, I enrolled in an MSc program in "Synthetic and Industrial Chemistry" at the same University. For my Final Master's Project, I worked on the "Preparation of Organocatalysts Supported on Porous Polymers and their Application in Flow Chemistry in Asymmetric Synthesis" with the Asymmetric Synthesis and Catalysis group (SintACat) at IU CINQUIMA in Valladolid, Spain. Currently, I am pursuing my PhD on "Smart Metal Air Scavengers: Extending Lifetime In Autonomous Powered Systems (SMAS)" at the ICTP (CSIC) in Madrid, Spain. Dr. Javier Carretero González supervises my PhD research. My main scientific interests revolve around the development of advanced and sustainable polymer systems for electrochemical applications.
