Lauri Uotinen works as a staff scientist in the Rock Mechanics research group of Aalto University in Finland. He is also a part-time CTO in the Fractuscan startup company, providing photogrammetry-based geotechnical risk assessment. Additionally, he is the president of the Kalliomekaniikkatoimikunta, the Finnish National Group of the International Society of Rock Mechanics and Rock Engineering (ISRM), and the head of the scientific committee of EUROCK 2022 in Finland.
