I am Dr. Lateef Ahmad Wani, Ph.D. in Mathematics, currently working as an Assistant Professor of Mathematics at Department of Mathematics, Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology, Patiala, Punjab. My research interests lie in Geometric Function Theory (Complex Analysis). I was born in Palpora village, Pulwama district, Jammu and Kashmir. I earned both my Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Mathematics from the University of Kashmir, Srinagar. In 2015, I qualified both GATE and CSIR-NET. Subsequently, I joined the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee (IIT Roorkee) as a Ph.D. scholar on 28 December 2015. I successfully defended my doctoral thesis, titled "Geometric Properties of Starlike Functions Associated with a Nephroid Domain," on 23 October 2020. I have published around 10 research papers and 2 book chapters.
