Biography

Associate Professor Lei Lin focuses on cow ketosis, a key challenge in modern dairy farming, conducting systematic research on its basic mechanisms and practical solutions. His work centers on the abnormal fat metabolism in ketotic cows, exploring the molecular mechanisms of lipotoxic damage in the liver and mammary gland. By revealing the link between metabolic imbalance and tissue damage, he provides new insights into ketosis pathogenesis and fills knowledge gaps in cow metabolic diseases. In prevention and treatment research, Lei Lin screens targeted drugs against ketosis - related multi-organ damage. His findings on metabolic regulation and cellular protection-based approaches improve ketosis prevention techniques, support healthy cow breeding, and boost dairy production efficiency.
