As an Assistant Scientist of Molecular Biology at the University of Florida, my research focuses on the molecular pathogenesis of veterinary and zoonotic pathogens, integrating genomics, transcriptomics, and proteomics to elucidate host–pathogen interactions. My work also emphasizes understanding antimicrobial resistance mechanisms and developing innovative vaccine strategies to mitigate zoonotic and foodborne infections. With a strong foundation in molecular biology, immunoassays, and large-scale data analysis, I strive to translate molecular discoveries into practical applications that advance disease prevention, diagnosis, and control. Through collaborative, data-driven research, my goal is to develop diagnostics, vaccines, and antimicrobial alternatives that contribute to global One Health initiatives and strengthen infectious disease management across animal and human populations.
