I am Tenure-track Assistant Professor (Ph.D. Advisor) at Institute for Artificial Intelligence, Peking University, also an Affiliated Professor (Ph.D. Advisor) at Beijing Zhongguancun Academy. Before that, I was a Research Fellow at Department of Engineering Science, University of Oxford, working with Prof. Philip Torr. I pursued my PhD majoring in Data Science at Peking University, where I am fortunate to be advised by Prof. Xiao-Hua Zhou, coadvised by Prof. Zhouchen Lin. I am also honored to be selected into the 20th Experimental Class for Gifted Children in Beijing No.8 Middle School, which enables me to finish all grade 6-12 course works in 4 years and entering university at the age of 15. I have more than 80 publications appeared in top-tier CCF-A conferences and journals such as ICML, NeurIPS, ICLR, SIGKDD, WWW, SIGIR, CVPR, ICDE, ACL, TPAMI, and TOIS, reported by MIT Technology Review and CAAI. My research interests span from machine learning, causality, trustworthy AI, LLM training and inference. Moreover, I am supported by the Young Scientists Fund of the National Natural Science Foundation of China (¥300,000) and Young Elite Scientists Sponsorship Program by CAST (via CCF). I have been selected as the 2024 Peking University Person of the Year and representative of National Scholarship reported by People's Daily. I currently serve as the Area Chair (AC) for top-tier conferences including ICML, NeurIPS, ICLR, and SIGKDD, and the Action Editor of TMLR.
