Professor Ningzhong Liu holds a Ph.D. in Engineering and is a Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at the College of Computer Science and Technology, Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, China. He is also a member of the Key Laboratory of Pattern Analysis and Machine Intelligence (MIIT). His research interests include machine learning, computer vision, pattern recognition, and multimodal large language models. He has led projects supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the Natural Science Foundation of Jiangsu Province. He has published more than 60 papers in leading journals and conferences, including CVPR, AAAI, ACM Multimedia, IEEE Transactions on Multimedia, and npj Heritage Science. His recent work includes active and semi-supervised learning, visual recognition, and evolutionary optimization. He serves on specialized committees of the China Society of Image and Graphics and the Jiangsu Association for Artificial Intelligence. He has been selected for the Six Talent Peaks program of Jiangsu Province and received a Jiangsu Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award.
